My journey as a tattoo artist began in 1992 in El Paso, Texas, under the guidance of Orlando Rodriguez. Initially, I never envisioned myself in this line of work, but life often leads us down unexpected paths. Embracing this journey, I’ve found immense fulfillment over the last 35 years. My artistic style draws inspiration from traditional Japanese motifs, blending the past with a contemporary vision. I create most of my tattoos directly on the skin, as this approach allows for a better fit and a more intuitive feel for the design's composition. Trust is essential in this process, and I am grateful for the confidence my clients place in me. In 1998, I relocated to San Diego and joined Avalon Tattoo, where I had the privilege of working alongside talented artists who helped me refine my skills and work ethic. As a proud parent of two and celebrating 27 years of marriage in 2026, I remain passionate about my craft and hope to continue tattooing for many years to come.
